About Us
The Physical Education for All Kids (PEAK) Coalition is comprised of community-based organizations, advocates, parents, educators, health professionals and school administrators, who are deeply committed to improving PE and wellness in Oregon schools.
Despite the well-documented benefits of PE for children’s health and academic achievement, Oregon schools routinely fail to provide their students with the physical education that is required by Oregon state law. The PEAK Coalition aims to protect children’s access to quality physical education by protecting existing legislation and by working with schools to create an implementation pathway.
